ON YOUR BODY’S LANDSCAPE (Ref. BIS-001-U)

QUENTIN ROLLET a commencé le saxophone alto à 11 ans et le saxophone sopranino à 37. Après quelques années passées à désapprendre l’enseignement du conservatoire, il se consacre uniquement à l’improvisation libre. Ce qui ne l’amène à se retrouver sur disque ou sur scène avec des groupes aussi variés que Nurse With Wound, Prohibition, The Red Krayola, Mendelson, David Grubbs, Herman Dune, Akosh S. Unit... aussi bien sur disque que sur scène. Après avoir produit des disques pendant dix ans pour le label Rectangle, en 2015, avec Isabelle Magnon, il monte le label BISOU.
Artiste « discret » sur scène, qui compte parmi ses fans des gens comme Edward K. Spel (Lengendary Pink Dots), Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth,...), Tim
Gane Stereolab,...), Steven Stapleton (nurse with wound list),... THIERRY MÜLLER (Ilitch, Crash, Ruth, Moore/Müller... ), compositeur, guitariste et claviers est toujours à l’affut de nouvelles expériences et collaborations passant de la Pop à l’expérimental et à leurs transitoires. 

QUENTIN ROLLET began on alto saxophone at age 11 and the sopranino saxophone at 37. After a few years to unlearn teaching academy, he devoted himself solely to free improvisation. Which leads him to be on disk or on stage with as varied groups as Nurse With Wound, Prohibition, The Red Krayola, Mendelson, David Grubbs, Herman Dune, Akosh S. Unit… After producing discs for ten years for the Rectangle label in 2015 with Isabelle Magnon, he created BISOU records.
