Il s’est entouré de Marc Tosello à la contrebasse et de Nicolas Aureille à la batterie pour enregistrer ce nouvel album :

Dès le premier titre, L’espagnole, René Perez Zapata nous rappelle ses origines hispaniques. On sent un trio solide, fusionnel. La maitrise de chacun permet une interprétation libre où le trio peut intervenir tel un sculpteur, avec douceur, minutie ou puissance.
« My Mystery » touchera votre corde sensible. Le titre « Révolution » dévoile avec fougue une toute autre facette de cet album. On est en pleine combustion spontanée ! Voilà une belle contribution à l’histoire du Jazz !
