Sept artistes rendent hommage au film de zombies en réinventant l'univers sonore de La Nuit des morts-vivants. Ensemble, ils réécrivent une nouvelle bande-son du film, jouée intégralement en direct et retranscrite sur ce disque : musiques, bruitages, voix, ambiances, dialogues, et sons illustratifs ou abstraits.
Ce disque, qui fait suite au spectacle éponyme proposé par l'ARFI, plonge les auditeurs.trices. dans un espace où se mêlent la cabine de doublage, celle du bruitage, et l'enregistrement d'une musique originale. Ils sont ainsi témoins d'une recherche sonore à la fois concrète et théâtralisée.
Cette exploration repose sur un dispositif réunissant des instruments de musique, mais aussi des objets du quotidien, offrant un large panel de possibilités sonores.
Cet album s'inscrit dans le riche catalogue du collectif et label ARFI et reflète parfaitement l'esprit de création libre qui anime notre collectif depuis 1977.

Seven artists pay homage to the zombie film by reinventing the sound universe of Night of the Living Dead.
